Correct Ans - A. (Tested in my lab. ) Elastic Pool Vcore and maximum data size will never increase automatically. DB with more Vcore and maximum data size can be moved into elastic pool but will be constrained by the Vcore , Memory size of the elastic pool.

A is correct tested and confirmed from my trainer and in my Lab. Also a good answer from RKSBBSR: Elastic Pool Vcore and maximum data size will never increase automatically. DB with more Vcore and maximum data size can be moved into elastic pool but will be constrained by the Vcore , Memory size of the elastic pool.

Answer is A The previous vCores allocated for the database will not be applicable once database is moved to a pool. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-sql/database/elastic-pool-scale

A is correct, moving DBs in or out of a pool doesn't change the pool's resources. Moving B1 in pool1 means that it 'leaves' its cores and storage behind, and has to live with pool resources. Following ref does not state this directly but gives plenty of examples confirming the mechanism: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-sql/database/elastic-pool-resource-management
