This is how I want to approach the question Set-CsCallinglineidentity or New-CsCallinglineidentity for MS teams powershell, so A. Rule out other options, Azure, CQD, Windows powershell has nothing to do with it. I will take what's left.

That would be pretty dumb for them to ask this question still. SfBO is long gone now

I wonder if they still ask this question. The SFB Admin Center and and the SFB PowerShell module are obsolete. The SFB Powershell module is included in the Teams Powershell nowadays, you don't need to install or load it separately anymore.

I would say AD. SfBO Powershell module to create the the CallingLinePolicy with New-CsCallingLineIdentity. This command does not appear in the Teams PS module and there is no answer that includes Teams admin center. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/skype/new-cscallinglineidentity?view=skype-ps Then batch assign the new identity to all 50 IT team members with the Teams PS Module - New-CsBatchPolicyAssignmentOperation. It explicitely lists that CallingLineIdentity as available policy to assign. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/teams/new-csbatchpolicyassignmentoperation?view=teams-ps
