The answer is correct and actually makes sense. First of all in the Teams Guest Access menu we allow guest users (because we presumably haven't done it yet). Second - using Set-Team cmdlet with AllowGuestCreateUpdateChannels - False settind we disallow guest users to create/update channels. See more here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powershell/module/teams/set-team?view=teams-ps

Not sure if the answer is correct. This setting is in the Teams Desktop App. Manage team > Settings > Guest permissions > Allow guest to create and update channels tick box. So the owner(s) of a team can do this.

Good to know it is there as well, they might later add a version of the question asking for that or giving that as an option

Selected Answer: E
E is correct is B is not as In Guest Access setting there is no option for channels. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/set-up-guests But we can also define this setting in Teams Admin Center Navigate to Teams > Manage Teams Select the team and go to Settings Under Guest permissions, disable: ✅ Create and update channels ✅ Delete channels or In Microsoft Desktop Team App

E is correct. I don't agree with B since the question mentions that the team already includes guests so I don't see why we should go to Guest Access Settings

I agree with the given TAC configuration above, it is in there for guest access permission via GUI.

E is correct , Don't see in TAC a way to disable channel creation for guests for B to be correct.

Set-Team is the only right option with the parameter -AllowGuestCreateUpdateChannels, in TEAMS Admin Center you can't limit anything channel related

Makes sense. You modify the settings of the Team in question in TAC to allow / prohibit guests creating or updating channels. Same with set-team cmdlet.

I think E is correct but B should not be. You cannot restrict contractor to create/ update channel in the Teams admin center.
