Correct answer I think is E: Quality updates can only be deferred for a maximum 30 days. Feature updates can be deferred for up to 365.

I think you are right. As with the Semi-Annual Channel, LTSC devices receive regular quality and security updates to ensure that device security stays up to date. While quality updates are available for Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC, you can choose to defer them using tools such as Windows Update for Business or System Center Configuration Manager.

You are correct, E is the answer. However, on LTSC version you can differ "Feature" updates for up to 10 years ;)

Key word: computerA is on LTSC : "Microsoft never publishes feature updates through Windows Update on devices that run Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB. Instead, it typically offers new LTSC releases every 2–3 years, and organizations can choose to install them as in-place upgrades or even skip releases over a 10-year life cycle."

Given answer is good. The machine is on an isolated network. The machine cannot even download the quality update therefore there is nothing to defer.

This is not talking about a semi annual channel (defer quality updates for up to 30 days). Referring to LTSC (Long term servicing channel) here. Therefore updates are "Typically released every 2-3 years. Allowed to be skipped for up to 10 years."- Testout Client Pro (labsim)

Guys, ComputerA is in a workgroup on an ISOLATED network segment. And the link provided states: "organizations can CHOOSE to install them (new LTSC releases) as in-place upgrades or even SKIP releases over a 10-year life cycle". So I can CHOOSE to SKIP updates with no problem at all.

This discussion is very revelational. Do you guys NOT read the question? QUALITY UPDATES, not FEATURE UPDATE. Its right there in the question, yet everyone keeps regurgitating the same MS Doc paragraph.

It is correct, because in the statement it says that the computerA is connected to a manufacturing system and is critical to the business and on the other hand the LTSC is Long Time Servicing Channel.

Your answer is correct but its for the the General Availability Servicing Channel with semi annual updates. The question is based on the LTSC. You can control LTSC releases and even skip it over a 10-year life cycle. Correct Answer is given

I Hope it helps you out, ------- Long-term Servicing Channel: "With this in mind, quality updates are still immediately available to Windows 10 Enterprise LTSB clients, but customers can choose to defer them by using one of the servicing tools mentioned in the section Servicing tools." Note the service tool is update for business such as writen in the casus. LINK:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/update/waas-overview#long-term-servicing-channel ------- Check : Maximum deferral period, link below. "Quality updates 30 days" https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/update/waas-manage-updates-wufb So answer is 30 days! MS is only give you the chance to skip a feature update thing for max 10 years and you stil have support. But thise casus is not talking abbout the feature updates!!!!
