Obviously the answer is making sure that Windows 10 Enterprise app is enabled inside the E3 license. E3 license is composed of many features (Exchange plans, Teams plans etc,), one of them being Windows 10 Enterprise "license"

D; All the employees are assigned Microsoft 365 E3 licenses. It says the domain has a user account for user 10 Autopilot reset should do the job

I'm unsure if an E£ licence includes W10 Enterprise? I'm sure you have to add the W10 Enterprise SKU to your tenant in addition to the E3.

AutoPilot should work here since the computers are assigned to Azure AD.
