answer is the least bad, but not great. a - won't do the job, the app consists of many servers b- not impossible but ARS is mainly for objects such as VMs or other IAAS resources c- good idea but clearly insufficient d- is for Vms, not apps Best way is to create a backup within the appropriate blade of the App in Portal
