D365 Finance is the correct answers for both. Whenever it is cost or purchase price or financial aspect, it relates to D365 Finance. In Enterprise Asset Management there is no such report or inquiry showing these aspects. Though the documentation of MS shows the Asset Management being part of SCM, but these question being asked about financial aspects.

The first one is really tricky I thought it was Finance as the machine is a fixed asset property.

SCM for both is the correct answer: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/supply-chain/asset-management/ Asset Management is an advanced module for managing assets and maintenance jobs in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. Asset Management integrates seamlessly with several other finance and operations apps.

I agree Question 2 answer could be Supply Chain Management, as the references to maintenance and labor could be those aspects themselves apart from their costs. However, Question 1 should be FInance -- a "large machine" is absolutely a Fixed Asset.

The minute you specify "acquisition costs", you have to track those using Fixed Assets, part of the Finance application.
