If records have been selected, Export to Excel will export the selected rows, but it does so regardless of whether they are currently visible or not. On the other hand, if no records have been selected, all returned records are exported. The question is a bit sneaky, but given that it talks about selected lines, then the correct answer should be Yes.

It does not matter if you have selected a grid or not, the export to excel exports all the visible grid and not the content of the selected grid. (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/learn/modules/get-introduced-finance-operations-apps/5-explore-options-for-exporting-excel)

It does not export anything, it just opens the data in excel - so I guess, the answer is correct..

Question 2 should be YES; I use Export to Excel constantly; if certain lines are selected it will export those lines, but if none are selected it will export ALL the visible lines.

1st: YES 2nd: NO, the question is tricky : ... that is visible in a grid ..., no it schouldn't be visible. If you filtered the list, and klick select all, than it will be exported into the excel.

For me answer 2 is also "YES", you can just try it yourself with filtered or selected data.
