Remote domain is correct and easiest way but mail flow rule work too. "The following options allow you to limit the type of client automatic replies (Out of Office) to internal or external domains. Selecting none stops all out of office messages from being delivered to the remote domain."

I agree with the answer, it's one of the best practices, but the option B also may achieve the goal.
