B is correct, register as empty when handling units are received.

Why B? it should be A. it mentions event Kanban. When source requirement is registered - This option is available only for event kanbans and is the default option for them. In connection to WIP, this option is useful for keeping WIP clean, because kanbans for components in WIP are automatically emptied, and therefore consumed from WIP, when the parent kanban is prepared.
