MPOS is only available offline for the Windows version. The iOS and Android versions do not support offline mode.

This comment came in huge for me today. I actually got a question of "which versions of POS can work offline", with 4 possible yes/no answers (Windows, iOS, Android and CPOS). It was the only question worth 4 points I saw all day. Big thanks to you for pointing this out!

I would say yes to both, though MS MPOS works only with Windows offline https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/commerce/mpos-or-cpos
