Agreed. Right from the solution's website we can see why: "Microsoft Dataverse allows you to connect directly to your data using Power BI Desktop to create reports and publish them to Power BI. From Power BI, reports can be used in dashboards, "

But the question states; which data connectors are available for building dashboards. Only dashboard connectors are relevant. Desktop does not support dashboards and surely has other connectors which are not meant for dashboards.

Selected Answer: D
D is more likely for 2 reasons: One (as xav1er states), dashboards are a BI Service feature, not BI Desktop. Two, the PPAC at https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/dlp allows you to define policies that allow or block connectors. You will not be able to see some of those in BI Desktop.

Answer must be D. It sure is not E, PowerBI Desktop, as using DASHBOARDS (part of the question) is not possible in PowerBI Desktop.

Selected Answer: E
E. Power BI Desktop Explanation: Power BI Desktop provides a comprehensive list of available data connectors. When you go to "Get Data" in Power BI Desktop, it displays all the connectors you can use to import or connect to different data sources. Power Platform admin center: This admin center is for managing various aspects of the Power Platform, including Power BI, but it's not where you would find a list of all data connectors.

I was torn between A, D, and E. B is a Power BI connector and C is not a thing. A: Dashboards are made within a Power BI workspace, either from existing reports or a streaming set. A streaming set is chosen when creating the dashboard and would qualify as a connector. However, since streaming isn't explicitly mentioned, this answer feels incomplete. D: Many people choose D 'because it's not E'. But why D then? Where is it? I had a look around the center and couldn't find a list. That doesn't mean it isn't there, but please people, when voting for an answer please provide arguments. E: If the question wasn't about 'dashboard' connectors, the answer would have been crystal clear. Open Power BI Desktop, choose 'Get data', and there's a full list of available connectors. Seeing as a dashboard usually contains report data (from PBI Desktop), and as many people confuse 'reports' with 'dashboards', I'd say E is the best answer. In order of likeliness, I'd say E > A > D.

Source for PBI Desktop: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/connect-data/desktop-data-sources I couldn't find anything for the Power Platform admin center, please feel free to prove me wrong. I also couldn't find anything regarding dashboards specifically.

E. Power BI Desktop. In Power BI Desktop, you can use the "Get Data" feature to connect to a variety of data sources, including databases, files, and online services. You can see all the available connectors and select the one that is compatible with your data.
