Answer is correct. Regardless of whether you do std prod or 24hr days. Outlook begins on day after. Month and open days will be for the previous 3 months (including November as only 3 days=1month) 46 days total.

open days should be 46 / 47 days depending on the working time template hrs

For the first part, it depends on the working time templates setting. if the record was created outside of hours (eg std-day), the date would be Nov 4th, otherwise if it's 24/7 it would be Nov 3... The second questions should be - "Create lines" is unchecked, only one line would be created. It should be a single month before the calculated date with 3 months of open days (64 / or 65 days of open days)

I re-read the question. the answer is correct. It would show one line, with a single line, From date Sept 1 / 2020 with the open days (for each work day defined in the working time template).

"You set the value for the Direction field to backward." ==> Today is the LAST day of the period So the current configuration shows the LAST three months. And the next period start tomorrow (Nov 4th)
