Employee1 must set up the new BOM. Which three actions should Employee1 perform? Each correct answer presents part of the solution. NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.
A.
Create a new BOM for Store1, Store2, and Store3.
B.
Activate the BOM.
C.
Add the raw materials to the BOM and approve the BOM version.
D.
Add the raw materials to the BOM and approve it.
I think it shoud be BDE, not BCE
The case says "The company does not use Bill of Materials (BOM) versioning"
And the source says "Note that a BOM version can be approved only if the related BOM itself is approved."
So it would not make sense to
- Approve the BOM version as the company does not use versioning
- Approve the BOM version but not the BOM
B. Activate the BOM.
C. Add the raw materials to the BOM and approve the BOM version.
E. Create a new BOM for Site1 only.

Another small discrepancy I'm just noticing, please tell me if I'm wrong
Both BOM / BOM version can be "approved" but only the BOM version (not the BOM) can be activated.
I still think B is right, but it just goes to show how sloppy these questions are.
In order to assign an item to a BOM, you always have a BOM version. BOM versioning would indicate that as you update or change requirements in the BOM a new version would be created.
Answer is correct
This, clearly when they said "the company does not use BOM Versioning" they had something else in mind. To my knowledge, you MUST MUST MUST have both a BOM and a BOM version; the latter is what relates the BOM to the item.
SimonB stated above: they have to mean something else because you MUST use a BOM version, and the BOM version must be active.
They might be referring to something along the lines of engineering change management? I don't know.
