The given answer is correct. 1. AAD audit log -> Event Hub (other two choices, LAW, storage, but not available in this question) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/reports-monitoring/tutorial-azure-monitor-stream-logs-to-event-hub 2. Azure function has the Event hub trigger and Cosmos output binding a. Event Hub trigger for function https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-functions/functions-bindings-event-hubs-trigger?tabs=csharp b. Cosmos output binding (allow function to write to Cosmos) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-functions/functions-bindings-cosmosdb-v2-output?tabs=csharp

I don't know why it can't be also accomplished with Event Grid instead of Event Hub?

Event Grid - When to use - React to status changes Event Hubs - When to use - Telemetry and distributed data streaming https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/event-grid/compare-messaging-services#comparison-of-services

I think both EventGrid and EventHub would work but the trick here is that the published events are log events and EventHub is more suitable to process streams of logs of a higher amount than EventGrid. Still I think EventGrid is a much relevant answer!

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/reports-monitoring/tutorial-azure-monitor-stream-logs-to-event-hub First box is Event Hub as per Microsoft official documentation. Second box is Azure Function for sure
