correct. from intune you can initiate remote connection via TeamViewer. With quick assist you cannot elevate admin rights if the user itself is not an local admin.

The devices are already enrolled in intune, so why recommend something if its already in use? Final answer is D. Also because the answer promotes a Microsoft product over TeamViewer, which is not.

I vote D, because: Remote desktop will break requirement 3, user wont see whats going on. Intune on its own has no remote tool, as someone else pointed out orgs needs to buy TeamViewer, option B should say "Intune with Teamviewer" to be valid. Remote Assistance, no real experience using this. However I have plenty of experience using Quick Assist. It DOES allow elevation, activate the role "Azure AD joined device local administrator" (source: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/devices/assign-local-admin) and have QA be logged in with your admin account BEFORE remoting to user. Is the session initiated by user or admin then? Depends if the user ask for a security code, or admin just provides it before user asks. Admin gets prompted to remote or view, user then will be prompted to allow/deny remote session before its up and running. Additionally QA is the Microsoft way.

Now generally available, remote help is a premium add-on application that works with Intune and enables your information and front-line workers to get assistance when needed over a remote connection. With this connection, your support staff can remote connect to the user's device. During the session, they can view the device's display and if permitted by the device user, take full control. Full control enables a helper to directly make configurations or take actions on the device. The remote help app is available from Microsoft to install on both devices enrolled with Intune and devices that aren’t enrolled. The app can also be deployed through Intune to your managed devices.

Elevation of privilege - When needed, a helper with the correct RBAC permissions can interact with the UAC prompt on the sharer's machine to enter credentials. For example, your Help Desk employees might enter their administrative credentials to complete an action on the sharer’s device that requires administrative permissions. During assistance, helpers that have the Elevation permission can enter local admin permissions on your shared device. Elevation allows the helper to run executable programs or take similar actions when you lack sufficient permissions. Use remote help with Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Manager: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/remote-actions/remote-help

C. Remote Assistance- you can send an invitation via file or email. Once the user opens the invitation and inputs the password, they will then be prompted to either give or deny consent to allow the admin to view and control (user still has control as well, obvi) their desktop. Unless you are working remotely on a personal PC, I would not run to intune to initiate remote assistance. I would use one of the provided microsoft tools.

And the document provided specifically states it's a guide for remote assisting MOBILE DEVICES. Nothing in the question says anything about MDM or mobile devices.

I'm voting C, Remote Assistance Maybe Microsoft wants you to pick Intune but the only option their is the teamviewer Quick assist has to be initiated by the receiver, so out of the question C remote assistance can meet all the demands, however with option B you have to pay a third party to be able to get a license ... whereas Remote Assistance doesn't require anything extra

TeamViewer is a third-party program that you purchase separately. It provides a comprehensive set of remote access and support capabilities. The Intune and TeamViewer integration enables remote support using TeamViewer and the connector is managed directly in Intune. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/remote-actions/remote-assist-mobile-devices

Intune might be a solution (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/remote-actions/teamviewer-support), but it requires Intune- and Teamviewer licenses. QuickAssist can to almost the same, but it requires somewhat more handling. But it is for free. Making changes to the computer as and admin can be done with starting things like MMC as a different user (the admin-user). This is the only way when the admin and the user has to be in the same session.

Agree with this, given the link. This is the MS answer even though Remote Assistance is an option, choose the MS option. (assuming all machines are Azure AD Joined and Enrolled)

Remote desktop will disconnect the user, on the other hand, quick assist will not only allow the user to always see his screen but also to ask him for a confirmation before establishing the remote connection.

It's Remote Control not Intune. Is like saying SCCM instead of Remote Control I think the answer may be correct but the word itself is wrong.
