Hot Area:

Show Suggested Answer Hide Answer
Suggested Answer:
Box 1: Business Process -
Scenario: If a sales representative submits a status report and assigns the At Risk status to a process, the app must prompt the sales representative to enter a detailed description for the risk. This information must be emailed to the regional manager.
Business process flows provide a guide for people to get work done. They provide a streamlined user experience that leads people through the processes their organization has defined for interactions that need to be advanced to a conclusion of some kind. This user experience can be tailored so that people with different security roles can have an experience that best suits the work they do.
Box 2: Common Data Service when a record is created
The Microsoft Dataverse (Common Data Service) connector provides the following triggers to help you define when your flows start:
✑ When a row is created, updated, or deleted
✑ When an action is performed
✑ When a flow step is run from a business process flow

The implemented solution is canvas app and business process flow cannot be implemented in the canvas . and all data will be saved in Azure DB and they will not implement Dtaverse . so the answers should be : 1- Instant 2- PowerAPPs

Automated cloud flow cannot been used in Canvas apps. Instant flow = Button flow and both are valid in canvas app. Manual trigger flow = Flow from mobile app and it is run by clicking button on app .

The question does not state it's a canvas app. Where did you get that information from? So the correct answer is 1. automated. 2. common data service.

1. AUtomated flow 2. Common Data Service when a record is created Automated flows are used for scenarios like this where we want a specific action to be triggered automatically based on certain conditions or events, such as when a status report is submitted with the "At risk" status.

Initially I was going to say that Automate and When a record is added to Dataverse, however, Dataverse is not mentioned as data source or storage, just SharePoint and SQL, then: 1. Instant 2. PowerApps

"Use a SharePoint list to store information about regional managers and sales representatives." I think it can't be Common Data Service when a record is created. So, Instant flow & Power apps trigger.

1) Automated 2) Common Data Service when a record is created. The information that the user saves when submitting their report, is used in an automated flow to determine if an email is needed and send it with info from the created record.

Automated - there is no need to have an instant flow - when you submit the report, there is a trigger that evaluates the categories and so on and then sends the email. Power App - to save/submit the report Power Apps

Ummm the first one has to be instant flow cause the employee initiates it so he/she has to press a button to start the flow. Cant be automated.

Yes, it can be. In fact in order to submit the report the employee must press a button in the app and so this action is going to initiate the flow. For me: -Automated -Powerapps

Hmm, based on the docs here: Flow that can be triggerred from canvas app (power apps) is tied to the button. So can it be an automated flow?

that doesn't make sense if you press a button to trigger a flow it is a definition of instant not automated flow
