I think this is A? DLP is already created and there is an option to configure policy in the Security center.

Selected Answer: A
It says: You create the planned DLP policies. You need to configure notifications to meet the technical requirements. Technical requirement: A notification must appear in the Microsoft 365 compliance center when a DLP policy is triggered. By default, when you go to https://compliance.microsoft.com/homepage you get to see 'Active alerts' Therefore if you configure alert policy to create alert when DLP policy is triggered, that alert will appear in the Microsoft 365 compliance center = technical requirement met.

Maybe some comments are out of date. The DPL is already created, now you need a notification. To configure that, go to https://compliance.microsoft.com/alertpolicies (Purview, Policies, Alert Policies and setup a New Alert Policy). So, in my opinion the answer provided is correct.

Creating an alert policy in https://compliance.microsoft.com/alertpolicies is something completely else than the provided answer D. From the Microsoft 365 compliance center, configure the Endpoint DLP settings.

Maybe "Endpoint" was added by mistake? Then the answer would be true. D. From the Microsoft 365 compliance center, configure the DLP settings.

the statement is that the DLP policies have been created! The question is for the notifications only.

“A notification must appear in the Microsoft 365 compliance center when a DLP policy is triggered.” It seems that is the case.

Data loss prevention (DLP) policies can take protective actions to prevent unintentional sharing of sensitive items. When an action is taken on a sensitive item, you can be notified by configuring alerts for DLP.

It's too bad the two of you are long gone, because I would love to understand the logic behind this. Endpoint DLP by itself doesn't have alert settings and the question makes no mention of endpoint DLP.
