1 and 2. Why do you need to create two retention labels? You can apply the same retention label to both the application and resumes. So create one retention label and 2 auto-apply label policies. Or am I missing something?

Thanks all frequent commenters for your valuable insights. Passed this today and the discussion helped so much to do so. I know anyone who commented in the past doesn't really have a reason to come back and read this... but big ups to y'all nonetheless 🫡

1. Employment applications and resumes must be deleted automatically two years after the applications are received. Place all employee documents and resumes in a single sharepoint site or and folder. Crete a Retention policy and map this sharepoint path. So there is only one retention policy is needed. 2. Auto labelling - Create one Label policy for Resumes, and another label policy for employee documents. - and add them in single auto labelling policy

2 and 1. Resumes must be identified automatically based on similarities to other resumes received in the past. →Create one retention label using a trainable classifier. Employment applications and resumes must be deleted automatically two years after the applications are received. →Create one auto-labeling policy. Select "①" and "②" as the target labels. Documents and emails that contain an application serial number must be identified automatically and marked as an employment application. →Create one retention label using a trainable classifier.

8/15/22, tested should be 1/2: "Resumes must be identified automatically based on similarities to other resumes received in the past." - Trainable classifier can handle this "Employment applications and resumes must be deleted automatically two years after the applications are received." - 1 retention label set to two yr retention + 1 auto label policy pointing to the trainer "Documents and emails that contain an application serial number must be identified automatically and marked as an employment application." - 1 auto labeling policy can satisfy this condition. (also need a sensitive information type but not needed for this question)

The employment application form is downloaded from SharePoint Online and a serial number is assigned to each application. The resumes are written by the applicants and are in any format. Based off this you cannot use the same auto-label policy for both doc types, so you would need to choose 2 auto-label policies so one can "Apply label to content that contains words or phrases..." and another policy to "Apply label to content that matches trainable classifier", which there is a built-in "Resume" classifier for.

Employment applications and resumes must be deleted automatically two years after the applications are received. From this requirement, as the retention time is the same, you can use just 1 retention label on both of the retention auto-label policies, so the answer for me is... 1 label 2 auto-label policies

a sensitive info trainable classifier for the resumes a sensitive info type for the application, can be EDM, Keywordlist or Regex. one auto-retention-label policy for each sensitive info type. so 2 and 2

my bad, for the first part it is asking for a retention label and not sensitivity label/type. So 1 and 2(assuming that both sensitive info types were previously created.)
