CHATGPT: A. Yes, running the command "netsh wlan delete profile name="Wireless1"" will delete the stored profile for the Wi-Fi network named "Wireless1" on Computer1, preventing it from automatically connecting to that network. Therefore, this solution meets the goal of preventing Computer1 from automatically connecting to Wireless1.

"...from automatically connecting to Wireless1." by deleting the wireless profile via netsh this would technically prevent you from automatically connecting to that network

I would lean toward answer B as the method mention in the question is prevent to connect wireless after deletion instead of automatically connect. The Microsoft way is to uncheck automatically connect checkbox.

They’re not asking for the best method. The asking if the answer meets the requirements

The question wants: [You need to prevent Computer1 from automatically connecting to Wireless1] Yes sure, if you delete the connection, the it will become an unknows connection to you and if you try to connect, it will ask you for credentials. But this doesn't solve the issue because if the WiFi is configured with a certificate and your computer does have the certificate, then it might connect automatically. You simply click on the wireless icon near the time/date bring the wireless available, click the desired wireless and simply disconnect. When you do that you will see a check box to automatically connect, just leave it blank. This way it doesn't automatically connect, and you keep all the configuration so when you need it, simply connect!

Does this meat the goal? Yes, for sure. Regardless of the other options which come to mind, it definitely won't automatically connect.

This is a tough one, deleting it would stop it connecting automatically but certainly a sledge hammer approach. setting connection mode to manual seems a fair better choice but technically deleting it would achieve the goal. I hate how Microsoft puts these questions. I think the automatically implies it still is to be used so it must not be deleted. So answer is No I think.
