Answer is correct, eDiscovery content search and export. Just note for real life that you need at least the eDiscovery Manager role, and you have to be signed in via Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge in order to install/use the export tool. With Microsoft Edge, you need to make sure that ClickOnce support is enabled. Open Edge > edge://flags/ > Search "ClickOnce" > Select "Enabled" > Restart Edge > Sign into Microsoft 365 and begin your eDiscovery export

So, I think two things; 1. The given answer is correct. The question is stating that you need to provide Debra with all the emails from Alex that contain the word merger. Not that Debra wants all emails sent to her. A content search will discover all that content for Debra. 2. If emails are to be sent to Debra, my personal choice is setup a new communication compliance policy. It's far less messy than an eDiscovery case and you can filter the results by keyword. In this case I would go with the content search, then provide Debra with the results. That is more in line with the questions ask.

Wrong answer. In my opinion the best approach is to create an ediscovery case, include the serach criteria based on the requirements, provide access to the reviewer to the case
