I chose A and D. Because when we talk about a data migration tool, we are referring to the underlying DIXF mechanism. The Data Management Workspace is just the UI layer—it’s the user interface used to interact with DIXF. Within the workspace, you can perform data operations like uploading files or running import/export projects, but essentially, it’s just a front-end interface built on top of DIXF. So fundamentally, DIXF is the actual data migration tool, while Data Management Workspace is just how users interact with it.

Correct answers: A and C A. Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Data migration tool (DMT) This tool is specifically designed for migrating data from AX 2009 to Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management. It helps extract, transform, and load legacy data into a staging area from AX 2009. C. Data Management Workspace This is the main platform in Dynamics 365 F&SCM for importing, exporting, and staging data. After using DMT to bring AX 2009 data to a staging format, the Data Management Workspace is used to bring that data into the final D365 F&SCM system using data entities.

You can use the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Data migration tool (DMT) to migrate your data from AX 2009 to finance and operations. Using the DMT is the only supported upgrade path from AX 2009. The DMT helps you find and fill gaps between the table schemas for each version, as well as helping you move your data. So answer is A and C.
