Answer incorrect. Not a solution, because we already know he cannot communicate at all using calls, so knowing whether he can call externally is part of the same problem and doesn´t help finding a solution.

Incorrect. The focus should be on the fact that the user can make and receive calls on one connection but not the other. Determining if the user is enable to communication with external users or not should not matter since the question states that the user can communicate with users using the LAN by making and receiving calls.

If we ask a user while in LAN, user would say YES can communicate with external users. As soon as user leaves LAN he/she can not. Does it tell us the cause of the problem? LOL

I would say the answer is correct because the first thing you would do is establish basic connectivity. What works, what doesn't work?

It clearly didn't mention whethere the call made was a PSTN or VoIP call. The answer doesn't make any sense to me. I would go for Option A.
