The visualization shows the current mapping, but I agree with many others, it should also say generate source mapping. On the other hand, once a file has been added you get an overview of which fields could be mapped and which didn't. You have to fix the errors manually.

Some fields are identical, others vary, so many are mapped automatically and the others should be manually paired, but the tool is correct. I think A is right

If you have extended an entity (added fields) or if the automatic mapping appears to be incorrect, the mapping of the entity can be regenerated in the Mapping form. This is where we use Generate source mapping . Source : MS learn.

It's B. You want to use "generate source mapping." This will map any matching column headers to the appropriate target field. Then you can use the mapping visualization to manually do the rest.

Correct answer should be NO because from Mapping visualization manual process is used to map the fields while Generate mapping is an automatic process to map fields.

I believe the option A is correct as once you load a file to import, the system auto map the entity fields with the source file and you can check it in the field mapping and if you need to map additional fields you can do it as well

The answer 'A' is correct. Refer this: If you have extended an entity (added fields) or if the automatic mapping appears to be incorrect, the mapping of the entity can be regenerated in the Mapping form. To do this, click Generate source mapping.
