Yes - No - No Yes - Team owners can see membership lists of private channels. They cannot view or interact with the private channel unless they are also members. No - User 5 is not a member of the parent Team, so they can't be added to the private channel until they are added to the team first. No - Tested this, admins can create private channels from TAC, but they cannot convert existing standard channels to private.

No-No-No 1st No Team owners can see the names of all private channels in their team and can also delete any private channel in the team. (A deleted private channel can be restored within 30 days after it's deleted). Team owners can't see the files in a private channel or the conversations and member list of a private channel unless they are members of that private channel. 2nd No User 5 is not member of the team, only members of the team and guest can be added to private channels 3rd No Admin can't do this

NO - NO -NO Only private channel owners and members can even see this channel. If a Member creates a private channel, the team-owner can not even see this channel (tested verified). Since the team is private too, you can only add Team-Members to a private channel (tested verified). Channels can't be converted at all.

So team owners can always see the private channel, but cannot access it if they are not a member. Still they can see limited information about the private channel: Private channel name Private channel owner list Private channel last activity time stamp https://robertschouten.com/2019/11/04/top-5-things-to-know-about-private-channels-in-microsoft-teams/#:~:text=Team%20owners%20have%20limited%20visibility%20into%20private%20channels,team%20with%20a%20lock%20sign%20next%20to%20it

No = User1 cannot see the membership list because he's not the owner No = User2 cannot add User5 because User2 doesn't have a role of Teams Administrator No = Admin1 cannot convert Planning into a private channel because he's not the owner

The correct Answer is No-No-No; In Microsoft Teams, private channels are only visible to the members of that channel and are not visible to the owner or administrators of the team. However, the owner or administrators can see the members of the private channel by going to the channel's settings and selecting "Manage members."

Answer is No-No-No Team owners can't see the files in a private channel or the conversations and member list of a private channel unless they are members of that private channel. Only the private channel owner can directly add or remove people from it. A private channel owner can add any team member to a private channel they created, including guests. Private channels can't be converted to standard channels and vice versa. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/private-channels?WT.mc_id=M365-MVP-5002973

Answer is No-No-No. Team owners can't see the files in a private channel or the conversations and member list of a private channel unless they are members of that private channel. Team members can only see private channels that they've been added to.

NO-NO-NO in other questions was marked as possible but it is not correct, the team owner can see only the owner of the private channel not the members, User5 is not member of the team at all so it can't be added to a channel and last there is no private to public or viceversa conversion right now so it's not a matter of role but missing option at all

One has to be a member òr a guest in the team in order to be added to a private channel..since user 5 is not a member nòr a guest in the team, he or she cannot be added to the private channel...

No - As User1 is the Owner of the Team but they are not a member of the private channel therefore, User1 can only view the Private Channel owner from the Manage Team -> Channels option. No - User5 is not a member of the Sales team, therefore they cannot be added into a private channel of that team. No - Standard channels cannot be converted into Private channel Lab tested 14/03/22

I think user1 can see the membership list of the budgets channel since user1 is the owner of the team. That was always correct in the other questions, so I do not understand why here its set to No

Privacy of the channel can not be changed without a 3rd party app... user 5 must be previously be added to the team in order to be able to add him to the channel
