I think C & E are correct. Remote provisioning is only available on native Teams Phones afaik.

I agree, found this: 3PIP Phone Interop with Microsoft Teams - Authentication: All Skype for Business sign-in capabilities are only supported with username auth and web sign in. Pin Auth is not supported.
