Following questions, including this question, have common view which is inactive state. Question #1 No solution isn't to activate. Question #2 No solution isn't to activate. Question #3 Yes solution is to activate.

The answer is 'yes' - when a scope is deactivated the statistics show that no IP addresses are available for assignment. But when you activate the scope it will show the available IP addresses.

I found following link. https://www.pearsonitcertification.com/articles/article.aspx?p=684650&seqNum=5 It says as follow. Total Addresses—The total number of addresses available. This number includes the number of addresses for all the active scopes on the server.

Answer is "No": even if you activate the scope, there are currently 0 addresses in this scope (see the statistics). You need to activate AND add addresses to the scope.

Can you explain why you think the answer is no? The scope is currently deactivated, so it makes sense to me to activate it
