I Think D is correct. Large infrastructures place a Radius proxy between the Radius server and the clients to enhance performance and redundancy.

I think D is correct. I believe you must use RADIUS server, proxy, client in RADIUS solution. While in non RADIUS solution and VPN solution you must use RAS gateway.

I agree with you that D is correct. Proxy servers are needed. The link explains proxy servers for load balancing. However, this load balancing is configuration, not role and service. So A isn't correct.

I think that A does not assign the requests evenly. Only one server could resolve all the requests if it is not overloaded

Yup, this question was on my exam as well November 27th 2020. A lot of radius, and dfs questions were on the exam.
