shouldnt change column type come before remove errors?

Yes, you're right. I've tested and the only way to remain with dates only was: 1. Remove BLANKS, 2. Change TYPE, 3. Remove ERRORS. I have tested with changed type as first step but you cannot remove blanks after that.

the step to "remove Error" must be after the step to "Change data type"
