Topic #: 2
[All MS-200 Questions]

Your company has a Microsoft Exchange Server 2019 organization.
The company's IT department has a monitoring application that generates email message alerts.
You need to configure Exchange to accept messages from the monitoring application. The solution must ensure that messages are accepted regardless of their size.
You create a new Receive connector scoped to the IP address of the server used by the monitoring application.
Which two actions should you perform next? Each correct answer presents part of the solution.
NOTE: Each correct selection is worth one point.

  • A. Add the Exchange servers permission group to the Receive connector.
  • B. Add the Exchange users permission group to the Receive connector.
  • C. Grant the Ms-Exch-SMTP-Accept-Any-Recipient right to the NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGON user account.

The reference article is correct but the answer should be AD rather than CE. Since the solution should ensure that messages are accepted regardless of their size, it can only be achieved via AD as it bypasses the size check while CE does not.

The solution must satisfy all explicite requirements. One of them is : Message size bypassing. - "Configure the connections as anonymous" does not meet the need : "Messages don't bypass antispam or message size limit checks" - "Configure the connections as externally secured" allows messages to bypass size limit check. This solution is less restrictive but this criteria is not explicitly required. Therefore, the correct answer should be : AD

The question asks which you would do NEXT though.... So CE and then AD? Or would you do AD first and then CE?

I agree with Alex. C&E is incorrect answer. as per article, if we choose C&E, Messages don't bypass message size limit checks. But if we select AD, as per article, Messages bypass message size limit checks
