for 2: one thing that was interesting is "A licensed user receives an insufficient permission error when opening leads." to open the lead, the user must see the lead. he cannot open a lead if he has no read priv. on this lead. so maybe opening a lead, the lead form would pull another record, that the user is not able to view?
