From link given A and D seem to be correct. Not sure you need the script when you have already imported the appliance. Link does not mention use of script, only that you can use if you can not use the downloaded VHD, but here we have used it already. "Using a script is useful if you're unable to create an appliance using the downloaded template." but has been created already. "Make sure you don't run the script on an existing Azure Migrate appliance." the Migration and modernization tool is automatically added to the project. the Azure Migrate Discovery and assessment tool is automatically added to the project. I will go with ADE because a Migration and Assessment tool is automatically included, but I can not find documentation to back the answer up.

The given answer is correct. The VM is already imported. The question is asking the steps to only register the VM.

But I think the Azure Migrate Appliance IS the migration tool (the one that Microsoft wants us to use, there are alternatives). So given that the appliance is already set up, that part is not necessary. I wonder even whether you need to create a project still - as you do that BEFORE you set up the Azure Migrate Appliance. But well, it is technically possible to use the setup files from another project to create the Appliance VM, so A (and D) is probably part of the correct answer...
