Radio buttons at the bottom are used to configure options of each entry, it's not a global option.

The answer is correct: YYN The answer is correct: YYN YYN Assignment order The ordering of assignments affects how the Rule Set is applied. When the assignment file is processed, the Rule Set is applied from top to bottom. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/fslogix/concepts-fslogix-apps-rule-editor-rule-sets#assignment-order

it is NNN because that follows the concept of Least Privilege. It is not op to bottom like firewall rules are for instance. It is is least privilege. If you are part of 2 groups, GroupA gives you access and GroupB doesn't, you don't get access.

Every rule is evaluated top to bottom. It doesn't stop when it gets a "hit" on a rule.

So really just : 1: Start with an assumption of "Rule does not apply to user/group" 2: Work your way up from the BOTTOM and find the first assignment (if any) that apply to your user. 2.1 If you find an assignment, that is the result. Anything above it is irrelevant. 2.2 If you do NOT find any assignment, nothing changes from where you started with "Rule does not apply to user/group"

Given answer is correct. The tricky one is User3, because it's a member of both Group1 and Group3. Because of the assignment order, the 'no' for Group1 is overridden by the 'yes' for Group3 that comes after it. So User3 cannot see the folder.

Y,Y,N. Radio buttons at the bottom are used to configure options of each entry, it's not a global option. If applies = No, it means the masking is inactive. CONTOSO\Group1 - applies NO - means the rule does not applies so Folder1 is visible. Question is about Assignment Order. "The first assignment applies the Rule Set to Everyone, the second specifies the Rule Set does NOT apply to User1. In this case, the Rule Set would apply to everyone except User1." https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/fslogix/application-masking-users-groups-ht#assignment-order
