Best practice is to separate different functionality to groups of users.

And as you stated later in the comments - is one of the requirements ;-) "Application use layout should be role specific"

A: role specific yes, of course. but 'job role' not sure, is IT team a role? is management a role? B: certainly not C: "the team" singular. the question is for 2 Teams. i had some doubt D. one app per Team: might be tempting but then you have the maintenance supervisor team, and the contracts team and then i realized: 'teams of employee' is not very specific. you can have teams unbounded of internal organisational structures such as task force teams, project teams. This question is about picking the one which is not as wrong as all the others are. not about the right one. I go for A.

second thoughts. from organisational theory 'IT' is not a role but a function so is 'management'. Agents not sure, more a team. and 'contracts team' too. 'aircraft maintenance vendors', and more... and job role sounds too low level granularity. if tomorrow they invent a new 'job role' like scrum master in the IT team and you stick 100% to a job role setup, you would have to create a scrum master app? it says EACH job role. Application use layout should be role specific. remains D?

Selected Answer: A
A, this is better because in this case for C they said each "team". I dont want to make an assumption that there are only 2 teams, which if there WERE and only managers were in one and IT in the other then A = C, but since I dont know how many teams there are under IT People and Under Managers A != C so A

Selected Answer: A
Correct answer is A because the requirements are for Managers and the IT team to have different sitemaps, but it's not said that the IT team doesn't need access to the same things. You can only customize the sitemaps for different users by using separate apps for these users, so A - one app for each job role - is correct.

Selected Answer: A
I see the discussion is divided between A & C. Let me shed some light why A is a wise choice. Between options A and C, option A (one app for each job role) is the more appropriate choice. This is because creating an app for each job role allows for customization based on the specific needs and tasks of each role, such as IT staff and managers. This approach simplifies maintenance, updates, and training while providing a more efficient and user-friendly experience for employees. Option C (one app for all employees of the team) might be easier to implement initially, but it may not address the unique needs and requirements of each job role as effectively as option A. By tailoring the app's features and layout to be role-specific, option A ensures that the solution meets the needs of both IT staff and managers while maintaining a manageable number of apps.
