How is it possible first to Remove the columns and then Rename the columns? How can you rename something if it is already removed? For me it makes more sense first to Select the columns and then rename them. I'm not the M expert but it makes no sense to me.

Because from the modeling picture above, you can not see the two columns: SpanishProduct Category Name and FrenchProductCategoryName. The picture is showing the desired result of this model.

You can see in the Power BI Schema under "Product Category" table that there are only 2 table names available, whereas the DB1 had 5 to start with .... the M Query mimics this for outcome. Thus Delete & Rename. Hope this helps.

First, it removes the "ProductCategoryAlternateKey", "SpanishProductCategoryName" and "FrenchProductCategoryName" fields from the ProductCategory Model, then changes the name of the "EnglishProductCategotyName" field to "Category". so "EnglishProductCategotyName" has not been removed before, only its name has been changed to "Category". now ok ?
