I disagree I say • A. a retention policy • F. a data loss prevention (DLP) policy Because To assign your retention settings to content, use retention policies and retention labels with label policies. You can use just one of these methods, or combine them. Use a retention policy to assign the same retention settings for content at a site or mailbox level, and use a retention label to assign retention settings at an item level (folder, document, email). For example, if all documents in a SharePoint site should be retained for 5 years, it's more efficient to do this with a retention policy than apply the same retention label to all documents in that site. However, if some documents in that site should be retained for 5 years and others retained for 10 years, a retention policy wouldn't be able to do this. When you need to specify retention settings at the item level, use retention labels. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/retention?view=o365-worldwide#compare-capabilities-for-retention-policies-and-retention-labels

Well, you can't deny that F is also an option to achieve the same goal: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/compliance/dlp-learn-about-dlp?view=o365-worldwide#dlp-policy-configuration-overview I do see that E should also work, though. So it seems ambiguous which answer will be counted as correct. A is definitely the way to go concerning the 10 year retention period, though.

A. A retention policy is used to retain content for a specific period to comply with the organization's policies or regulatory requirements. In this case, we need to retain all data for 10 years. A retention policy can be used to ensure that the data in the SharePoint Online site is retained for the required time period. E. A sensitivity label is used to classify and protect sensitive content. It can be used to prevent sharing of data outside the organization by applying the appropriate sensitivity label that restricts access to external users. B, C, D, and F are incorrect options

B. A sensitive info type is used to define and detect sensitive content. It is not used to meet the requirements of retaining data for a specific period or preventing the sharing of data outside the organization. C. A retention label is used to apply a retention policy to specific content. It is not used to meet the requirement of preventing the sharing of data outside the organization. D. A retention label policy is used to automatically apply retention labels to content based on certain conditions. It is not used to meet the requirement of preventing the sharing of data outside the organization. F. A data loss prevention (DLP) policy is used to prevent the unauthorized sharing of sensitive information outside the organization. However, it is not used to meet the requirement of retaining all data for 10 years.

The provided answer is actually correct. When MS speaks of a retention policy, this is actually referring to MRM Retention Label on the other hand refers to the compliance retention for the M365 workloads. To clarify, just read the next question, question 121. Its really tricky

I am going to go with A & F. Chris1972's explanation for A is the most logical. Its more logical to apply the Retention to the site which is done with Retention policy and not be a label. The same goes for F. It doesn't make sense to use Sensitivity labels for something DLP is much better at. You also don't have to rely on the labels being applied when DLP will take care of all of it for you.
