A and F: Why A: Under External sharing, specify your sharing level for SharePoint and OneDrive. The default level for both is "Anyone." found this at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sharepoint/turn-external-sharing-on-or-off

I dont agree with A and E answer. Requirement is: "allow users at Contoso to share files from Microsoft OneDrive to specific users at Litware." So: in SP admin center we need to C) set "external sharing" options for OneDrive to more permissive and then F) edit "file and folders" to "specific people". Thoughts?

A. Configure the permission level for OneDrive External sharing to be more restrictive.=>BECAUSE THE DEFAULT SETTINGS FOR ONE DRIVE AND SHAREPOINT EXTERNAL SHARING IS anyone so is the most permissive option we need to make is more restrictive to get to Guest users F. Modify the Links settings.

Selected Answer: CF
The correct answers are C. Configure the permission level for OneDrive External sharing to be less restrictive and F. Modify the Links settings. To allow users at Contoso to share files from Microsoft OneDrive to specific users at Litware, you need to configure the permission level for OneDrive External sharing to be less restrictive. This will allow users at Contoso to share files with users at Litware who are not in their organization. You also need to modify the Links settings to allow users at Contoso to create links to shared files that can be accessed by users at Litware.

he other options are incorrect. Option A, Configure the permission level for OneDrive External sharing to be more restrictive, is incorrect because this would prevent users at Contoso from sharing files with users at Litware. Option B, Modify the Device access settings, is incorrect because this setting is used to control which devices can access OneDrive. It does not affect the sharing of files with external users. Option D, Change the permissions for OneDrive External sharing to the least permissive level, is incorrect because this would prevent users at Contoso from sharing files with any external users. Option E, Modify the Sync settings, is incorrect because this setting is used to control how files are synced between OneDrive and your devices. It does not affect the sharing of files with external users. Therefore, the correct answers are C and F.

In summary, by configuring the permission level for OneDrive External sharing to be less restrictive and modifying the Links settings, users at Contoso can securely share files with specific users at Litware from Microsoft OneDrive. Correct answers should be: C & F

I guess more restrictive ( least permissive on sharepoint document) allow only the member of the organization to access, to be able to add external it has to be less restrictive, I assume thats not the requirements, so A is not part of the solution here.

A,F - More restrictive, since they want to restrict access to specific users you must use additional settings which increase restrictions.
