Tested. 1. From Dashboard A, select a tile, and right click view insight (Here enter Focus mode) 2. From Focus mode, there will be various tiles generated, so you can select one 3. From Focus mode, pin the one to the dash board to be a new tile!

there are two ways to do it. the first is from the "Semantic model" and the second is from a Dashboard. the correct answer is: 3 From DashboardA, select the TileA options, and then select View Insights 2 From Focus mode, review the generated visuals 1 From Focus mode, pin the relevant visuals to DashboardA

Achieving this without pro/premium license is : From visual select View Insights From Focus mode (right side of screen) review generated insights Pin the insight you want to add in the dashboard

You can't get insights from a dashboard!! So the steps should be : 1 - From Report A, select "Get Insights". 2 - From Focus Mode, review the generated visuals. 3 - From Focus Mode, pin the relevant visuals to Dashboard A.

Thanks for that link heer_987! The person in the video explains very well how things should be done but I think she missed the intent of the question. For me, the question is saying - you ALREADY have the Tile A existing on Dashboard A. That means the first action in the answer should be: 1. From DashboardA, select the TileA options and then select View Insights Once, you have done that, you will see other visuals being generated that are related to the data displayed by Tile A, therefore the 2nd option should be to go through each of those visuals separately in Focus mode: 2. From Focus mode, review the generated visuals Lastly, once you have decided which are the further visuals you want to add to DashboardA, you need to pin those visuals there, so the third step is: 3.From Focus mode, pin the relevant visuals to DashboardA.

Not sure what question image you're seeing, but in this video you posted it clearly goes 3, 2, 1 - view insights, review from focus mode, and pin.

Action 4: From ReportA, select the treemap visual options, and then select spotlight. Action 5: From ReportA, select Get insights . Action 6: From DashboardA, select TileA to open ReportA.

It is 3, 2, 1. this is for the newer power bi, I tried it myself on powerbi.com what you do is you go to your dashboard and select the options on the tile, then you can go on focus mode then you can finally click on view insights and pin which insights you want.

3-2-1 is the correct order. If you want more visual only from the data that relate to one visual, use view insight. but if you want more charts and graphs on entire dataset, from report use Get Insights.
