Databases in the Cloud - From the Power BI service, you can connect live to:

Azure SQL Database -
Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly SQL Data Warehouse)

Spark on Azure HDInsight -
For other database types in your organization, you'll need to use Power BI Desktop or Excel to connect to, query, and load data into a data model.

Box 2: Yes -
Power BI Desktop includes a Report view, where you can create any number of report pages with visualizations.
Can you create reports in Power BI service?
In the navigation pane in the Power BI service, you can select the Create button that opens a page where you can select your data source. It's also accessible from the New report button on Home. Currently, we only support creating a report based on an existing dataset, or typing or pasting data directly in a table.

Box 3: No -
Can you share Power BI desktop report with others?
Basic Sharing for Dashboards and Reports
You can simply click on the Share button in the dashboard or report, and then share it with other users. By default when you share a Power BI dashboard with this method, then the report and the data set will be shared as well.

No Yes No Power BI Desktop and the Power BI service both allow you to connect to external resources such as databases, web services, and Excel files. So it is not true that you can connect to external resources with Power BI Desktop but not with the Power BI service. Power BI Desktop and the Power BI service both allow you to build and edit Power BI reports. This statement is true. You can distribute a Power BI Desktop report by publishing it to the Power BI service, which allows others to access the report online. You can also share the report by sending the PBIX file to others or by embedding the report on a website. So it is not true that the only way to distribute a Power BI Desktop report is by sending the PBIX file to others.

You can connect to external resources with Power BI Desktop but not with the Power BI service. No: This statement is false. Both Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service support connections to external resources. Power BI Desktop is typically used for creating and managing these connections, but once published, the Power BI Service can also maintain these connections. You can build and edit Power BI reports by using Power BI Desktop or the Power BI Service. Yes: This statement is true. You can create and edit reports in both Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service. Power BI Desktop offers more advanced features for report creation, while the Power BI Service allows for editing and sharing reports online. The only way to distribute a Power BI Desktop report is by sending the PBIX file to others. No: This statement is false. While you can distribute a Power BI Desktop report by sending the PBIX file, you can also publish the report to the Power BI Service, where it can be shared with others through dashboards, workspaces, and apps.
