Correct: Server1: Request inbound and outbound: Connections are authenticated if possible, but the connections are allowed if authentication fails. Server 3: Require inbound and outbound Only connections that are authenticated are allowed. Server 4 has no connection rules so isn't authenticated, therefore it will be allowed to contact Server 1. So Server 1 can contact 2,3,4 (2&3 are on the domain and have connection rules so they're fine) As Server 3 requires inbound/outbound, it cannot authenticate IPSec with server 4, therefore it can only talk to Server 1 + 2. source: https://forsenergy.com/en-us/authfw/html/13da39e0-2a32-4ac4-a952-4391ae88c739.htm

I guess server 3 is able to talk to the DC’s too. Is any answer with the word “only” a wrong answer? I answer the question the same but the question itself is kind of wrong.

In reality the Answer is None. The connection security rules are linked to firewalls rules and implemented when a firewall rule is chosen as Allow if the connection is secure. Here there is no mention of firewall rules configured to allow if secure.

I don't understand. It is isolation rule aka domain connections. All the servers are part of the domains therefore all of them can talk to each other. Both answer should be all servers, no?

Nvm. IPSec require both nodes to be configured to work.
