I vote for N:N for the second. A doctor could work on multiple operation rooms, and one operation room could be used by multiple doctors.

It says "a doctor" with "multiple patients". Therefore, the answer provided is correct.

@SoMuchConfusion Incorrect. You need to reread the scenarios. Operating rooms and doctors = N:N. Many rooms with many doctors. A doctor and patients = 1:N. One doctor can have many patients.

I think the answer provided is wrong. "You need to configure relationships between doctor and patient records." In the context of an operating room, you would typically have ONE patient and potentially multiple doctors. I believe the correct answer is 1:N for the first scenario and N:1 for the second.
