lon-dc1 fails, yon can't transfer anything. answer is B. No

Seizing or transfering roles has nothing to do with stopping replication attempts. There are three correct answers for stopping replcication, and it has to do with deleting the DC server object(s) using dsa.msc, dssite.msc or ntdsutil.exe (see other related questions)
