Microsoft and CompTIA are different in this answer. Microsoft states that you need to install Anti-Virus first in the their step process. CompTIA states that you need to remove it off the network in theirs. Since this is a Microsoft Exam the answer is D: Install antivirus

i would normally agree because i would do that and run a scan from something i would import via USB but since this is a basic MTA, they probably want to hear you would restart in safe mode /w networking, to minimize services running and whatnot
