No it's correct, it should be Subscriptions. See below from this link: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/assign-azure-subscriptions Assign Azure subscriptions to your customers To assign an Azure subscription to a customer, use the following steps: In Partner Center, select Customers and then locate the customer you want to manage. Select the down arrow at the end of the row to expand the customer's record and then select Microsoft Azure Management Portal. You're directed to the Azure portal where you can manage the customer's subscriptions. At the Azure portal, select Subscriptions. Select the subscription you want to assign and then select Access Control. Select Add to add a user to the subscription. After you add the user to the subscription, you can assign the user a role and the account to which the user will have access.

In here shows how to "assign" which means that I assign to an already existent user. The question is about creating a user, not assigning a subscription to an existent user

The answer is Azure Active Directory. Why? Because it says you have to CREATE a new user. From Subscriptions, you can associate a previously created user, but it does not allow you to create a new one. That's the difference...

The question is not how to create user in Azure. The question is how to create a new user for an Azure subscription and the answer is Subscription as explained in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/partner-center/customers/assign-azure-subscriptions#assign-azure-subscriptions-to-your-customers

The key word in here is CREATE a user. The purpose I create this user is "for an Azure Susbcription". It goes on to say: "Each correct match is worth one point.". This means that there is more than one answer To my mind it goes like this 1) We CREATE a new user using ACTIVE DIRECTORY AD. Thus I create a user. But this user is not assigned to "an Azure Susbcription" yet. 2) Then we must ASSIGN the newly created user to the subscription. This is done using SUBSCRIPTIONS So the two answers are: Azure AD & Subscriptions NOTE: Susbcriptions cannot create users - they can only be assigned to already created users

CoPilot: You should use Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) to create a new user for your Azure subscription. Azure AD is the identity and access management service for your Azure resources, and it allows you to create and manage users, assign roles, and set up permissions. CoPilot: Nope, you can't directly use the subscription itself to create a new user. You'll need to use Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) to create and manage users for your Azure subscription. Azure AD handles all identity and access management tasks.

The published answer is wrong! It should be Azure AD. I tried just now, there is no option to create new user with subscription. I wish I can add an image here as evidence!

It’s no brainer to understand the difference between „add“ and „create“. This question could be wrong anyway

This answer is obviously wrong. I just tested this myself in Azure and you need to go to Microsoft Entra ID > Users > Create new User. So in a current exam the answer would be Microsoft Entra ID.

Now it's MS Entra ID: "Microsoft Entra ID allows you to create several types of users in your tenant, which provides greater flexibility in how you manage your organization's users." https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/fundamentals/how-to-create-delete-users

As per Microsoft Learn: How do I add another user to my Azure subscription? At the Azure portal, select Subscriptions. Select the subscription you want to assign and then select Access Control. Select Add to add a user to the subscription. After you add the user to the subscription, you can assign the user a role and the account to which the user will have access.

1. At the Azure portal, select Subscriptions. 2. Select the subscription you want to assign and then select Access Control. 3. Select Add to add a user to the subscription. 4. After you add the user to the subscription, you can assign the user a role and the account to which the user will have access. So I think the answer is Subscription blade.
