Seems box 2 is all, "Azure and non-Azure machines running Windows and Linux". Is somehow logical because it is a feature of Defender for Cloud, and Defender for Cloud can be enabled through Azure Arc OR by direct onboarding.

How I see it, based on MS docs. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/defender-for-cloud/adaptive-application-controls#availability Both Operating systems for the first drop down: SLES and Windows Servers All Platforms for the second dropdown: Hyper-V, Azure Arc-enabled servers and Azure VMs

Answer is D. Per Microsoft Learn, the following platform is supported: Azure and non-Azure machines running Windows and Linux, Azure Arc machines. Since non-Azure machine is eligible, it supports all platforms, Hyper-V included. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/defender-for-cloud/adaptive-application-controls
