YNY First yes, because user1 can delete his own messages. Owners can delete sent messages - Enable this setting to allow owners to delete messages or posts sent by users, excluding their own. To allow owners to delete their own sent messages, activate the Delete Sent Messages setting. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/settings-policies-reference

- **User1** is an owner of the Sales team and is governed by the Global policy. According to the Global policy, owners cannot delete sent messages. So, User1 **cannot** delete sent messages. - **User2** is a member of the Finance team and is governed by the Finance policy. According to the Finance policy, members cannot delete sent messages. So, User2 **cannot** delete sent messages. - **User3** is a member of the Procurement team and is governed by the Procurement policy. According to the Procurement policy, members cannot edit sent messages. So, it is **correct** that User3 cannot edit sent messages. So, the answers to your questions are: - User1 can delete sent messages: **No** - User2 can delete sent messages: **No** - User3 cannot edit sent messages: **Yes**
