A data engineer is responsible for: d. Design and implement data stores for analytical workloads. This involves creating and maintaining the infrastructure necessary for storing and processing data used in analytical tasks, such as data warehouses, data lakes, and databases optimized for analytics. While data engineers may also be involved in tasks like exploring data needs and designing analytical tools, their primary focus is on the architecture and implementation of data storage solutions to support analytical workloads.
