I took the exam 12.04.2023; this question appeared,correct answer Azure SQL Managed Instance

It's interesting the nobody mentioned that this is a tricky question. Ideally, SQL Server on an Azure VM provides 100% compatibility to on-prem system. But the catch here is "while providing automated updates. backups, and maintenance tasks" so it has to be Azure SQL Managed Instance. Makes sense?
