C. Enable the File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request - ICMPv4-In) inbound rule.
Enabling the "File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request - ICMPv4-In)" inbound rule allows the computer to respond to ICMPv4 echo requests, which are used by the ping command to validate network connectivity. This rule is disabled by default in Windows Defender Firewall, so it needs to be enabled to allow the ping command to work.
