You can use the Interoperability Matrix Tool to validate that your existing 8-node cluster plus the four new nodes (and the switch-level and protocol support for iSCSI) are all supported in combination. The IMT is NetApp’s authoritative compatibility and interoperability database for hardware platforms, cluster configurations, OS releases, protocols and host‐side software.
